Hi, I'm Jason Anfinsen. College students know me as Information Jason. I am a charismatic speaker, innovative library program creator, and visionary engagement & outreach librarian. Since 2019, I have served as a faculty librarian at the associate professor rank in the Florida College System at Broward College (2019-21) and Seminole State College of Florida (2021-present). Both were named finalists for the Aspen Prize for Community College Excellence during my tenure (small flex).
Seasoned on-air radio host on ALTernative music stations in Los Angeles, Seattle, and West Palm Beach. Voice over artist, event emcee, announcer, host and YouTube talent. Graduate of the Connecticut School of Broadcasting (now CSB Media Center).
Arts librarian experience at art museum libraries in Houston, Minneapolis, and Tallahassee. Study Abroad - Museum Studies @ FSU Study Center in London. Graduate Certificate in Museum Theory and Practice from FSU.
Trained actor and improvisor with over a decade of stage and festival experience.
Graduate of The Second City, Annoyance Theatre, and ImprovOlympic improv conservatories.
Performed nationally on stages in New York, Chicago, Miami, Seattle, Los Angeles. Performed internationally at festivals in London, Toronto, Kuala Lumpur and Singapore.
